09/09/05 Mato (Matthew Gucu) and Pryde (Richard Pryde Hughes) are getting ready to make the trip to Biloxi, Mississippi to lend our hands and our hearts in every way possible. We can't thank our dear friends enough for their contributions. You make this possible. Thank you so very much.
06/25/05 Pryde's 34 year old brother, Aaron Watkins lost his five week battle with Lung Cancer. You will be missed my love but we'll find each other.
06/19/05 The Side Room will be on hiatus for a time. Pryde's brother in Chicago has come down with an illness and he has traveled there to be by his side. Thanks for the support.
Alright! It's finally here. We have announced a new date. Wednesday, June 1st at the Foundation Room again. We have had such great nights over there that they want us all back. That includes you! You'll hear two brand new songs never heard before and we're going to be dressed in full white clothing with video projection shot over the band. It's going to be a night to remember. Get yourself on our guest list and we'll see you at the show. Doors are at 10pm and we take the stage at midnight.
Live photos from the October 27th show at Foundation Room are on the Imagery page. This was our first show with DJ Presto One on the tables. This show happened before we had a full band.
Live photos from the January 5th show at Foundation Room are on the Imagery page. Check 'em out!
After months plagued by technical problems in the studio, the issues are becoming resolved and new material is on the way. Look for a new show date to be announced soon. The show will feature some new songs from the band as well as a surprise cover or two.
Thanks for making the Jan 5th show at Foundation Room such a huge success. It was the busiest Wednesday ever for the club! Nice. We want to give extra thanks to our amazing band. We are fortunate to have some of the very best players in town and we appreciate each one of them. Thank you. We're working on our next show now and will have that announced soon. Thanks for the continued support. Photos from the show will be posted soon. Special thanks to Ethan Miller for the shots.
Wishing you a happy and healthy new year! Now, get on the guest list for the show this Wednesday, Jan 5th! Come check out the new, complete band and celebrate Pryde's birthday while you're at it. If you had a problem getting into the club last time due to the line, get there a bit early and you'll be set. Doors open at 10pm! See ya there!
Welcome to the new and ever evolving website for The Side Room. We'll be sure to have current show dates posted as well as a tasting of new tracks from the band. Keep checking back for new stuff.
The Side Room will be featured on TAPCO's 2005 Audio Sampler. TAPCO is a brand od studio reference monitor made by Mackie. They liked The Side Room's tracks enough to have people demo their product using our music. Cool.
